No more rotations :(

At least for this week, next, and the end of the semester.

It's just too much for me guys, I'm sorry.

But I've been thinking anyways, with how many communities there are now on LJ for music sampling, I dunno, I feel like me doing this every week is like repeating what's already out there, like you could easily just sample it from somewhere else. I guess unless you like reading my reviews than I'm helpful in some way, hahaha. I hate to shut it down altogether, since I have enjoyed putting them together every week when I WASN'T busy before, hahaha, and the loyal commenter's comments are always a treat, seriously, I've enjoyed meeting a lot of you through here, and that's one reason I'm so on the fence about this decision. Plus, I have so many "friends" that I never hear from and that makes me like uneasy, I think I'll just do a sweep through of LJ users I don't trust. And actually, I like the idea better of just sharing with my real friends, haha, people that I hear from every week, I don't like the idea of friend collecting, and even if I only have like 30 friends, that's ok with me,haha.

I'd just like to know what everyone thinks, but for now, no more rotations, I just don't have the time and school needs to be my top priority right now.

I love your rotations. ^^ And I ♥ your descriptions. That make me laugh, and it helps me figure out what I'd probably like, and probably wouldn't.

aww. well, it's definitely up to you man, if this is straining you and you don't have time, it's a good thing to stop. :)

however, me, and alot of others will miss your rotations. ♥ i don't know you too well really, i actually found you through your rotations, but i hope you'll keep me on your flist if you feel like it anyways 'cause your entries are always interesting and/or amusing. besides, you seem like an awesome person overall. XD

I like your rotations quite a bit (I have a few bookmarked I just haven't had time to get to yet), but if you have to quit that's totally up to you as I definitely understand about having other things going on in rl. :)

If you do decide to do a cut, I'd like to request to be kept as friend as I do enjoy seeing what your up to and don't have to have rotations. :)

Actually your descriptions have made me try several bands I've seen around, but was never motivated to check up on. Some of those bands I really like now too. :D

But I can def see how it would be hard to do amongst schoolwork. =/

Same here. How long has Kaya and Juka been putting stuff out and I just couldn't bring myself to download them. I finally got them from the last rotation.

Do it because you like it, not because you feel obligated to :)

I completely understand how busy life gets. I'm at that point, too (essay due monday, homework in an hour and a half... T_T).

If you don't think you have the time, then stop. You have more of an obligation to yourself than you do to us. I'm at the same crossroads regarding a blog translation community that I run. I really don't have a ton of time to be doing translations every day... That, and people never comment either, and it gets discouraging... T_T

School is more important, and like you said, there are other places to get these files. Although, I always prefer yours because I know they're named right, and they have the album art on there already. I can't tell you how happy the album art makes me, hahaha. Plus, I do really love your intros. I like hearing about other people's lives, it makes me... I dunno, it keeps my spirits up somehow. ^^

Even if you shut down the rotation, keep blogging! I need to know what happens with Hyung!! XDDDDD

But real life obligations should come before something like this -nods- And while I would be upset if you shut it down completely, I wouldn't be one of those meanies who tries to guilt you back into it XD

I would be really sad if you stopped doing your rotations ;_; You've introduced me to a lot of indie bands I would never have discovered otherwise, and I always love reading your enthusiastic reviews X3

BUT, your school and your real life is more important, so don't overdo yourself~ If you need to take a break that's totally understandable. And if doing a rotation every week is too much, maybe you could do it every other week? Or whenever you feel like it? XD

Honestly? You really are the only rotation I come to. Not only because how organized it feels, but because I can actually talk to a moderator and have a normal conversation.

But I understand where your coming from. If I was doing a rotation and had to be constantly updated with news, then I'd be really stressed out as well.

It'd be nice to hear from you every one and a while though, haha. I'm glad to be able to have MERRY!induced conversations with you, haha.

Is this your only journal you have? or do you have a personal one? :)

Well as much as I really enjoy your rotations, it's become alot more than that to me. I really do enjoy talking to you. Whether it's about Merry or more personal things, I look forward to it every week :) I like it that you keep all of us updated on what's going on with you and after being here for a few months, I see you as a friend and not just someone who uploads music.

As for the rotation, I'll miss it but it's not that important. I would definitely miss you if you quit this journal altogether. So I think if you need to take a break, then take one. If you need to quit doing rotations, then quit them. But I do hope to continue to see you around and I hope to keep in touch ^_^

It's far more important for you to focus on school and growing and LIFE. It's normal to spend time doing this. You get to go through all this stuff right now, and that's a gift. A stressful gift, but a gift nonetheless.

Anyway, that's my opinion. It's awfully nice of you to ask people about this stuff, which reflects how thoughtful you are.

ran a rotation site once -snerks at self- and effectively got swamped with having to update every week (It sort of went from weekly to fortnightly to monthly to bimonthly to never XD)
So kudos to you for keeping it up for so long and being so frequent! RL issues always suck :( But~ I still find interesting things here and I'll always love sendspace over megaupload 8D it'd be a shame if you shut down completely~
